Hopewell Chukwuemeka, a 25-year-old businessman, has been found guilty and sentenced to three years in prison by Justice Daniel Osiagor of the Federal High Court in Lagos, for attempting to smuggle 1.10 kilogrammes of Cannabis Sativa, also known as Marijuana, to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Some gunmen opened fire near the New Market in Enugu early this morning, reportedly killing four people. At least two people were killed early on Saturday by thugs executing Simon Ekpa’s five-day sit-at-home order.
